#1: Stop Sipping the Wrong Stuff
The number of people I talk to who are walking around dehydrated all summer long and don’t even know it. It’s staggering. And it’s not just about drinking more water.
Summer is when your body is SWEATING, moving, being outside. Your body is craving minerals, not just fluids.
Our favorite? A pinch of good sea salt and a squeeze of lemon in your water. Or coconut water in your smoothie. Skip the sports drinks (packed with sugar and artificial junk your body does NOT need).
Add this one simple thing and you’ll FEEL it. We promise.
#2: Eat Like the Season Knows Something You Don’t
Eat what’s growing right now, because it’s exactly what your body needs.
Right now? Think cucumbers. Zucchini. Fresh berries. Early tomatoes. These aren’t just delicious. They’re cooling, hydrating, healing foods that your body is BUILT to digest this time of year.
From the farm to your table: hit your local farmers market this weekend and just… buy what looks alive. You can’t go wrong.
#3: Get Outside Before 9am
Okay this one sounds almost too simple but, getting natural sunlight into your eyes within the first hour of waking up is one of the most powerful things you can do for your health. Full stop.
It sets your circadian rhythm. It boosts your mood. It helps you sleep better that night. And in summer? You have every excuse to do it. The light is gorgeous, the air is cool before the heat kicks in, and your body is just WAITING for it.
A 10 minute walk around the block counts. No sunglasses. No phone. Just you and the light.
Try it for three days and tell me you don’t feel different.
